menu plan monday

Monday- fried chicken, corn on the cob, & green beans, yummy :)
Tuesday- chicken with white rice & carrots
Wednesday- veggie meat loaf with mash potato's
Thursday- steak, mac, corn, & homemade rolls
Friday- roast with veggies, cornbread
Saturday- homemade pizza, I'm gonna hope for wings (to go on sale)
Sunday- crock pot dressing
School is out in a matter of days. I for one can't wait. Ill have to get creative with a very very healthy lunch menu. I got breakfast covered with all the cheap waffles and toaster thing's.
snacks are apples, bananas, and what other fresh fruit is in the house. I am thinking of going vegetarian during the day and only have meat once a day. I know it will be a lot harder that way instead of just making a ham sandwich or something easy like that. But it will be healthier for us so I am gonna try. Let me know if you have any and I mean any suggestions or web sites to help.

Yum, veggie meat loaf sounds delicious! Good luck going vegetarian by day... it's hard, but definitely worthwhile. I eat mostly vegetarian, meat maybe once or twice a week and I definitely feel physically better than I did eating meat all the time. It does sometimes take more time to make veg food, but there are definitely still quick fixes - like a cheese sandwich instead of meat, or Tofurkey (vegetarian "deli meat" basically - actually tastes very good!). Also just making big batches of veg things - whether they're different kinds of salads or cooked dishes - will help when you're on-the-go.

Also, you should check out springpad's
weekly meal planner - it's a great way to organize all of your menus and recipes, I think you'd really like it!
